As you know our old glass snuff bottle from the early eighteenth century often have what we call the "glass disease." I recently learned that putting oil (the best is olive oil) inside the bottle and turning it inside, sometimes, is a good treatment. I experimented with this technique and it works!! So please pass the information on to our friends from the Society.
